Hi, I’m Brian Emling a Technical Artist and Digital Media Designer from Cleveland, Ohio.

For two decades, I've worked with major children's brands including Peanuts, Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake, and companies like Nickelodeon, Hasbro and American Greetings.

I make things that make people happy.

As a Technical Artist at American Greetings, I work daily with creative and development teams on amazing products. I've been involved with web design, game programming, product concepts and new intellectual property through every step; from concept to execution.

In my spare time, I draw webcomics and cartoons, and experiment with my 3D printer.

Breakpoint City: The longest high school project in history.

Breakpoint City is the midwestern sci-fi webcomic that explores the regular daily lives of people in the not-so-regular future world. Join an inventor, a super-heroine and a talking dog who just happen to live in a place full of flying cars, sentient eggplants and killer waffle irons.

Started as a high school graduation project in 2000, Breakpoint City evolved into a college webcomic at RIT, then a constant companion to my creative career. My webcomic has been a place to try new things with art and code, to sharpen my writing and drawing skills, and to run an small but energetic online community. These days I've moved onto freeform illustration, but I will occasionally swing by the old place for a new comic or two.
